With just 31.9 seconds left on the clock, J.T. Miller netted a goal, securing a 3-2 win for the Canucks against the Oilers. In the final period, with the score locked at 2-2, Miller capitalized on a rebound from the post to slot home his third goal of the postseason. Earlier in the game, Kane scored late in the first period to draw the Oilers level. The Canucks responded shortly after with Soucy delivering a powerful shot to even the score at 1-1. Edmonton quickly took the lead again, just 33 seconds later, thanks to Janmark's goal, making it 2-1. The Canucks managed to tie the game once more in the second period, this time with a goal from Di Giuseppe. Canucks newcomer Arturs Silovs saved 21 shots.
