In Winnipeg, the Jets were spurred to a 4-3 triumph over the Seattle Kraken thanks to a pair of goals from Kyle Connor and a decisive third-period goal from Tyler Toffoli. This victory cemented the Jets' position as second in the Central Division, ensuring they start their playoff journey with home-ice advantage against the Colorado Avalanche. With the decisive goal coming during a power play about halfway through the final period, Toffoli's contribution was crucial. Connor's impressive performance, marking goals in eight consecutive games, along with a goal from Ehlers, significantly contributed to the win. Both Mark Scheifele and Josh Morrissey assisted twice in the game. Goalie Connor Hellebuyck contributed with 20 saves to secure this win for the Jets, who are looking forward to wrapping up their regular season with a home game against the Vancouver Canucks. Despite efforts from Yanni Gourde, Tomas Tatar, and Tye Kartye, the Kraken faced their fourth consecutive loss. Goalkeeper Philipp Grubauer also stopped 20 shots in their effort. The Kraken are set to conclude their season, missing the playoffs, with a game against the Minnesota Wild. The Jets welcomed Nino Niederreiter back after a five-game absence due to injury, although Morgan Barron had to exit the game early with a lower-body injury. Looking ahead, the Kraken are set to play against the Minnesota Wild on Thursday, while the Jets will host the Vancouver Canucks on the same day.
