Adam Fantilli scored twice, leading the Columbus Blue Jackets to a 5-2 win over the Calgary Flames. This victory extended their points streak to five games.

Kirill Marchenko tallied a goal and two assists, while Zach Werenski added both a goal and an assist, marking his fourth game in a row with a goal. Kent Johnson also found the back of the net, and Elvis Merzlikins made 27 saves.

For Calgary, Blake Coleman and Nazem Kadri provided the goals, including their first power-play goal against Columbus since 2019. Dustin Wolf made 29 saves for the Flames.

The Flames experienced their third loss in a row and have been defeated in six consecutive road games. In contrast, the Blue Jackets have beaten Calgary in their last four meetings.

Columbus displayed strong intensity, which the Flames couldn't match, maintaining their momentum after overcoming a difficult start in their previous game.

A key moment came when Fantilli left the penalty box to score just nine seconds later, increasing Columbus' lead to three goals.

Zach Werenski has registered points in seven consecutive games and currently leads NHL defensemen with eight goals.

In upcoming matches, the Flames will play against Pittsburgh on Saturday, while the Blue Jackets will head to Chicago on Sunday.
