Toronto Maple Leafs Sign Defenseman Jake McCabe to Five-Year Contract Extension

The Toronto Maple Leafs have decided to renew defenseman Jake McCabe's contract, securing him for another five years with a yearly salary of $4.51 million.
Currently, McCabe is finishing the last year of his four-year deal with Chicago, from whom he was traded to Toronto in February 2023.
At 31 years old, McCabe was originally drafted by Buffalo in 2012. This season he has contributed three assists in nine games, and throughout his career with Buffalo, Chicago, and Toronto, he has accumulated 33 goals and 122 assists over 586 games.
