The Buffalo Sabres visit the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday afternoon at Crypto.com Arena. The regular-season contest begins at 4:00 PM ET in Los Angeles.
Buffalo holds a 4-4-2 record through 10 games and enters the contest winless in two straight games at 0-1-1. The Sabres won 5-3 against the Florida Panthers, lost 4-3 in a shootout at the Montreal Canadiens, and won 5-4 in overtime at the Toronto Maple Leafs before dropping their last two decisions. Buffalo fell 4-3 in overtime at Montreal and lost 3-1 against the Philadelphia Flyers in its most recent outing.
Los Angeles carries a 1-4-2 record into Saturday after securing its first victory of the season in its last game. Prior to their 5-2 win at the Washington Capitals, the Kings dropped four consecutive games. That stretch included a 2-1 defeat against Florida, a 2-1 overtime loss at the Vegas Golden Knights, and consecutive 4-1 losses against the Edmonton Oilers and Boston Bruins.
Saturday marks the first meeting of the 2026-2027 season between the two clubs. Neither team has faced the other yet this year.
Los Angeles returns to Crypto.com Arena after scoring five goals at Washington, while Buffalo aims to improve its record after managing one goal against Philadelphia.
