The Carolina Hurricanes visit the Seattle Kraken on Thursday, November 12, 2026, with game time set for 12:00 PM ET. The regular-season matchup marks the first time these two clubs have played each other during the 2026-2027 campaign.
Carolina enters the contest with a 9-2-2 record through 13 games. The Hurricanes posted a 4-0 shutout against the St. Louis Blues in their last outing. Before that result, Carolina earned a point in a 6-5 shootout loss against the Edmonton Oilers, defeated the Vancouver Canucks 6-3, lost 3-2 against the Calgary Flames, and beat the Winnipeg Jets 3-2.
Seattle holds a 7-4-1 record heading into Thursday's game. The Kraken dropped their most recent contest 5-1 against the Minnesota Wild. Prior to that loss, Seattle secured consecutive victories at home, beating the Utah Mammoth 5-3 and edging the Detroit Red Wings 4-3 in a shootout. Those home wins followed road defeats of 8-3 against the Florida Panthers and 4-3 in overtime against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Thursday's contest offers each team a chance to establish the early advantage in the season series. Carolina aims to build on its recent 4-0 shutout win, while Seattle looks to bounce back on its home ice following the four-goal loss to Minnesota.
